If you want to drink great beer and try amazing food along the way then this tour is for you.
On this 4 ½ – 5 hour brew and chew walking tour we will visit two to three very different but lively Copenhagen neighbourhoods. You will definately be going off the tourist trail.
You will get to drink plenty of Danish produced beer and some foreign beer too. We go from microbreweries to fun modern taprooms. There will be plenty of good food along the way too – trust me, you will be in good hands.
Different neighborhoods mean completely different tours
There are 4 different variations on the Brew & Chew tour – all starting and ending in different neighborhoods. Check our our schedule to see what neighborhoods we will be exploring on what dates.
Center Tour
This tour will start close to Nørreport Station and you will get to see a lot of the famous sights in the center of the city. This tour will mimic our Danish Classics Tour quite a lot – but will contain a lot more focus on Craft Beer.
Along The Lakes
This tour will start with a brewery tour in Østerbro and end in either Nørrebro or the Meat Packing District – depending on the date or season. We will be going off the regular tourist trail for this one. And will be walking along the lakes of Copenhagen for a lot of it.
West to East Tour
This tour will start in Carlsberg Byen. One of the newest neighborhoods in the city. We will be walking around in the area where Carlsberg use to brew and go through the Meat Packing District ending up in the center of the city – close to the water.
Surrounding Neighborhoods Tour
This tour will start in the lively Nørrebro neighborhood and end in Frederiksberg. This is probably the tour that will be taking you the furthest out off the regular tourist trail into the real Copenhagen.
Meeting time for most tours are at around 15.30 pm (or else another time is noted in the booking) and the tour will run for approximately 4 ½ – 5 hours.

The meeting point will differ depending on which tours. Check out schedule to see where the tour will go and you will be notified shortly after booking of where exactly the meating point will be.
The total length of the walking tour is about 4-6 km, but we do it at a pace that everyone can follow. The tour might also include a ride on the metro depending on the day or season of the tour.
The price is 1075DKK (€143) and it includes all food samples and drinks. There will be about 8-10 samples per person per tour.
Read this before booking
- The price includes all food and drinks. Meat (maybe including pork – but this can be substituted) and alcohol will be served on the tour. Alcohol is an essential part of this tour but it is of course optional and we can serve water, soda or alcohol free beer instead. There are substitute for meat dishes if you prefer a vegetarian option. The tour is not recommended for a full on vegan diet, but if you are vegan – let us know and we will do what we can to accomodate it.
The tour will go ahead no matter the weather conditions so dress accordingly.

The tour costs 1075 DKK (approximately €143). All sales are final – no refunds are offered (except for cancellations) but your booking can be changed for a different date depending on availability
